, MalcoPower acoustic enclosures are built to withstand extreme weather conditions.
The acoustic enclosure is manufactured with a steel outer skin, and is lined with fire proof, acoustic material.
Attenuators are placed on the hot air outlet and cooling air inlet and exhaust silencers of the residential type are mounted either on top of, or inside the enclosure, exhausting to atmosphere.
, MalcoPower sets are mounted in a standard 20ft or 40ft ISO shipping container, which is fitted with hot air outlet and cold air inlet louvers and an exhaust system. The container is also fitted with internal lighting and personnel access doors.
To avoid transmission of vibration from the engine, the set is mounted on robust rubber anti-vibration mounts. Lubricating oil drain and fuel oil connections are brought out to the side of the container for easy access and maintenance
